The East Stratton Christmas Craft Fair!

I had a really good time at the East Stratton Christmas Craft fair yesterday! It was great to be able to show off and sell my work and also to see what other people are making and selling! Luckily my stall was inside the heated hall as it was such a chilly day!
I am really pleased with the response to my work I had from people and for the chance to meet lots of other crafters!
I hope to start doing more fairs as I really enjoyed the day! I took lots of photos of my stall and I will be replenishing my Etsy shop with lots of pieces this week!

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR!!

I will be running a stall at this years East Stratton Christmas Craft Fair on the 2nd December!! The fair hosts lots of handmade products and produce perfect for unique Christmas presents!

Bobble trimmings galore!!

Ive just bought a few meters of bobble trimming to use on the edges of my cushions! I loved using this on cushions for my art foundation FMP so thought Id give it another go!!

I finally used my 'Elephants' from the Trade Winds collection by Lily Ashbury for MODA fabric!!

I bought this fabric ages ago online and have finally made a cushion cover from it! I LOVE the colours used and the Indian style patterns on it and think it works really well as a cushion cover!

I found a new font!

I found a font that I love and downloaded it from dafont.com .... it took me a while as Ive never downloaded on a mac before but after confusing myself I realised it was actually allot quicker and easier than on a pc!

I love free samples!

I ordered a few samples of wallpapers and fabrics from Scion (http://www.scion.uk.com/) as I loved to colours and patterns on them! They give really decent sized samples which is great as you can then use them for something instead of just throwing them away!

Another pin cushion! .... with a difference!

I had this gorgeous floral V&A mug that I couldn't bring myself round to ruining with tea stains so I therefore did a bit of research to find quick upcycling ideas. I stumbled across this really quick,simple and easy tutorial (http://44thstreetfabric.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/fast-no-sew-pincushion-tutorial.html) which anyone can have a go at as there is absolutely no sewing involved! .....

I like the idea of playing with the scale of my designs so today I created these cute keyrings, featuring a heart and house design! Ive also finally used free motion embroidery to write with! I love the handmade and sketchy appreacnce this gives!
