Last week I spent a couple of afternoons cutting out, sewing and stuffing lots of gorgeous lavender bags!
I have used a mix of vintage, retro, floral, patterned and my own designed fabrics for the front of the lavender bags with a bright coloured fabric on the back!
All the lavender bags are stuffed with English grown dried lavender and are all hand sewn to finish!

Makeup Bags!
This week I have been experimenting with box style makeup bags!
I have used lace zips on my makeup bags as I love the extra effect and texture that the lace brings!
I really love these bags and have experimented making them in lots of different patterned fabrics, from vintage floral fabric to my own digitally printed designs!
These bags are gradually being added to my new Ebay shop ...

Hot Water Bottle Covers!
I want to start expanding my 'homewares' range so this week I decided to try making hot water bottle covers!
I created two gorgeous covers from vintage bright floral fabrics.
I used a heavy weight fusible interlining on the back of the fabrics to give a nice weight and depth to the fabric, this also helps protect the user from the heat of the hot water bottle when first poured!
