Another pin cushion! .... with a difference!

I had this gorgeous floral V&A mug that I couldn't bring myself round to ruining with tea stains so I therefore did a bit of research to find quick upcycling ideas. I stumbled across this really quick,simple and easy tutorial (http://44thstreetfabric.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/fast-no-sew-pincushion-tutorial.html) which anyone can have a go at as there is absolutely no sewing involved! .....

I bought some new pins this week so decided I needed to make a new pin cushion to put them in!
Heres the little cushion i just whipped up!

On this beautiful summers day I decided to make a summery style cushion! I created a cushion with strings of appliqued bunting in a mix of floral cottons! This cushion is now up for sale on Etsy! please take a look!

I like the idea of playing with the scale of my designs so today I created these cute keyrings, featuring a heart and house design! Ive also finally used free motion embroidery to write with! I love the handmade and sketchy appreacnce this gives!
